A new kitten is going to be a lifelong companion. Our Devons are bred with strong consideration for the health and type of the breed, diversity of the gene pool, and temperament of the cats.

          At Pixiecurls, we aim for strong, happy, affectionate and outgoing kittens, healthy and well socialised. Our queens are kept within our busy household as family pets, and all kittens are loved, well handled from birth, and fully integrated into family life.

​

          We have only one litter a year from our queens so available kittens are limited, and we will only let them to go to responsible, loving, forever homes.  Our Devons and their kittens are all registered with GCCF (The Governing Council of the Cat Fancy). Kittens will generally be registered on a non-active register with GCCF so they cannot be used for breeding and should be neutered at an appropriate age.

          Our kittens, or both of the kittens parents, will be tested for Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome (CMS) and will only leave for their new homes when we are sure they are healthy and thriving, vaccinated, fully litter-trained, socialised, and ready to leave their mum.

​

          Kittens are wormed from 3 weeks of age and have their first vaccinations and full health check-up with a veterinarian at 9 weeks, and once again at 12 weeks. If all is well, they are then considered ready to go to their new forever homes at 13 - 14 weeks.

          If you are interested in a kitten, we would be happy for you to come and visit them once they are over 5 weeks old. If you are decided on a kitten, then a £200 deposit will secure them and regular updates and photos will be sent to show you their progress.

​

          We encourage new owners of kittens to keep in touch and let us know how the kitten has settled in and is progressing. Also if any problems arise in the future, we ask that owners contact us initially if a new home is needed for any of our kittens due to unforeseen circumstances.
